Officials in Dominica conducted a tour of the Tranquility Beach Hotel- Curio – A Collection by Hilton—which is in development in Grand Savanne, Salisbury.
Tranquility will add 101 rooms to Dominica’s hotel stock, a combination of suites, villas, penthouses and single-unit tree houses offering breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.
Additional features at the high-end development will include spa, wellness center and gym, fine dining restaurant, swimming pool, gift shop, tennis courts, and private cabanas.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit led a cabinet site visit on May 1 to observe the progress of construction on the authorised Citizenship by Investment project.
In an interview, Prime Minister Skerrit said the hotel will create sustainable and permanent jobs for Dominicans at different levels and skill sets.
He said the government is committed to the project coming to a successful completion for the benefit of Dominicans.
