Intcomex Cloud, the leading cloud solutions division of Intcomex—the top technology distribution and value-added solutions platform in Latin America and the Caribbean—together with Microsoft and AWS, is excited to announce the launch of its new regional campaign: World Cup of Champions.
This initiative aims to drive cloud sales growth through a fun, competitive format inspired by the passion and excitement of soccer.
The competition will run from July 1, 2025, to March 30, 2026, giving resellers across the region the chance to score ‘goals’ based on their incremental sales of Microsoft Modern Work, Azure, Copilot, and AWS solutions. Each revenue milestone achieved will represent a goal on the global leaderboard, where participants will compete for the grand prize — an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
How the championship works
- Participants must register on the campaign’s official landing page and choose a nickname to represent their company on the leaderboard.
- Goals will be awarded based on incremental revenue — for example, 1 goal for every $10,000 in Modern Work Standard solutions or up to 4 goals for every $2,000 in Azure sales.
- Only the six countries with the highest cumulative goal totals will qualify for the final round to compete for the grand prize.
- There will be one champion per country, determined by the reseller who scores the most goals and meets all campaign requirements.
More than a contest — a regional experience
World Cup of Champions will not only test resellers’ sales performance but also strengthen the cloud community through the shared excitement of soccer. Over the nine months of competition, Intcomex Cloud will roll out a complete digital engagement strategy that includes:
- A real-time leaderboard
- An official campaign mascot
- Interactive soccer-themed content on social media, including fun facts, polls, and trivia
- ‘La Cábala’, where resellers can earn extra goals by participating in challenges tied to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers
