Must read

Patriot Memory delivered a standout performance at Computex 2025, held from May 20 to 23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, where the company unveiled its latest portfolio of high-performance memory and storage solutions in celebration of its 40th anniversary as a market leader.

One of the major highlights was the launch of the new Viper Xtreme 5 CKD line—DDR5 modules boasting speeds of up to 9,600 MT/s. These modules incorporate Client Clock Driver (CKD) technology, ensuring enhanced stability and superior performance during overclocking. In addition, a special limited edition was introduced to commemorate the milestone, featuring speeds of up to 8,000 MT/s and capacities of 48 GB per module.

Within the memory segment, the exhibition also showcased the Viper Venom and Viper Elite 5-Ultra lines, which include models with RGB lighting and TUF Gaming Alliance certification. The lineup further extended to include SO-DIMM kits for laptops, delivering speeds of up to 7,200 MT/s.

On the portable storage front, Patriot broadened its offering with products tailored for mobile professionals and content creators. Key introductions include:

  • PDP31: An external USB-C SSD with capacities up to 2 TB and read/write speeds of 1,000 MB/s, featuring a transparent design.
  • Viper EV330: A protective enclosure for M.2 2230 SSDs capable of 10 Gbps connectivity, designed to withstand shocks and ideal for outdoor use.
  • PVP30: A dual-interface portable SSD (USB-A/USB-C) that offers an ultra-compact design with capacities of up to 2 TB, perfect for swift data transfers on the go.

In the realm of PCIe Gen5 solutions, Patriot introduced two groundbreaking products that mark a significant advancement in performance:

  • PV563: The world’s first PCIe Gen5 x4 SSD without DRAM, achieving read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s and write speeds of 11,500 MB/s.
  • PV593: A high-performance Gen5 SSD that reaches read speeds of 14,000 MB/s and write speeds of 13,000 MB/s. This model is produced using TSMC’s 6 nm process and supports NVMe 2.0.

Complementing its portfolio for content creators, Patriot also presented solutions such as the MD330 Storage Hub, which integrates storage with HDMI projection capabilities from smartphones, and the iLuxe Studio, a magnetically attached SSD for iPhone that supports Apple ProRes recording.

Additionally, under its industrial brand ACPI, Patriot showcased PCIe Gen5 storage solutions and DDR5-6400 CKD memory modules designed for automation, edge computing, and artificial intelligence applications—underscoring the group’s commitment to mission-critical markets.

With a proposition that combines extreme performance, functional design, and adaptability for a range of user profiles, Patriot Memory positioned itself at Computex 2025 as a key player in the future of memory and storage technology.
