The date is now set for the opening of Holiday Inn Express & Suites in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
A pre-opening celebration will be held on November 19 for the 93-room structure in Diamond.
Minister of Finance Camillo Gonsalves, in an interview with the Agency for Public Information (API) said everything has been completed structurally, with only cosmetic touches being done, and landscaping.
Gonsalves said the building is ready and slated to open on November 22, 2024, with a pre-opening celebration on November 19.
Almost immediately after, the Holiday Inn Express will be hosting the West Indies and Bangladesh teams, while a few other conferences have already been booked.
An orientation session was held on Monday for the first tranche of staff members of the Holiday Inn Express team.
Gonsalves mentioned there are still job opportunities available at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, which is still interviewing in the security, landscaping, and maintenance sections of staffing as well as one or two managerial positions.
