IDB, Compete Caribbean unveil new private sector sustainability report

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Compete Caribbean Partnership Facility will launch a new publication called “Are We There Yet? The Path toward Sustainable Private Sector Development in the Caribbean,” which explores key challenges and pathways for the region’s economic future.

The launch event takes place on November 11 at the IDB Barbados Country Office from 4pm to 6pm.

The event will feature a distinguished panel of Caribbean experts, who will discuss insights from the publication, highlighting practical solutions to enhance the region’s private sector resilience, climate adaptability, and innovative capacities.

This new publication discusses comprehensive solutions for Caribbean economies dealing with challenges related to the facing post-pandemic recovery, climate adaptation, digital transformation, and sustainable growth. The report is an essential resource for policymakers, business leaders, and researchers who are committed to driving sustainable private sector growth across the Caribbean.
