Dominica Gov’t launches new online platform for its services

The Government of Dominica is enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of its services to the public with the launch of its new e-Services portal, eservices.gov.dm.

The new portal will provide online access to over 90 government services.

The platform will be offering a secure seamless and user-friendly experience, a release from the prime minister’s office stated.

It will give citizens access to apply for and renew a variety of documents including birth, death and marriage certificates as well as passports and business permits.

Users of the platform will also be able to pay for these services via debit and credit cards.

Added features to the portal include live chat support and disability-friendly and multilingual features ensuring inclusive access to the service.

The dashboard allows individuals to track the progress of their requests and receive real-time updates as needed, the release indicated.

The e-Services Portal is a key component of the government’s digital transformation initiative, aimed at improving productivity and creating citizen-centric digital services.

The project was funded through the World Bank Caribbean Digital Transformation Project.
