Barbados continues to hold onto the top spot as the most powerful passport in the Caribbean region, with the latest 2024 Henley Passport Index showing an improvement in the rankings of Caribbean countries which made our top 10 list in January.
According to the 2024 Henley Passport Index published in July, Barbados is still the top Caribbean passport positioned globally at number 20 (was #22 in January) with a visa-free score of 165.
Guyana and Jamaica have also made it to the top 10 list this time.
The most powerful passports in the Caribbean according to the Henley Passport Index 2024 July Global ranking are:
1.Barbados- ranking globally at #20 (was #22) with visa free access to 165 destinations
2. The Bahamas-ranking globally at #21 (was #24) with visa-free access to 161 destinations
3. St Kitts and Nevis- ranking globally at #23 (was #25) with visa-free access to 157 destinations
3. St Vincent and the Grenadines-ranking globally at #23 (was #25) with visa-free access to 157 destinations
4. Antigua and Barbuda-ranking globally at #26 (was #27) with visa-free access to 153 destinations
5. Trinidad and Tobago- ranking globally at #27 (was #29) with visa-free access to 151 destinations
6. St Lucia- ranking globally at #30 (was #32) with visa-free access to 148 destinations
7. Grenada- ranking globally at #31 (was #32) with visa-free access to 147 destinations
8. Dominica-ranking globally at #32 (was #34) with visa-free access to 143 destinations
9. Belize- ranking globally at #48 (was #52) with visa-free access to 102 destinations
10. Guyana-ranking globally at #55 (was #59) with visa-free access to 89 destinations

The most powerful passport in the world belongs to Singapore which has visa-free access to 195 destinations.
