Guyana & Colombia nationals granted visa-free entry to Anguilla

Must read

Anguilla has removed the visa requirement for nationals of Guyana and Colombia.

Anguilla’s Minister of Home Affairs, Kenneth Hodge announced the development at a media briefing on Monday.

A decision to remove visas for Colombians and Guyanese took place at the June 27, 2024, Executive Council Meeting.

The visa waiver is with immediate effect.

“This move is in keeping with the government of Anguilla’s commitment to fostering and strengthening the relationship with regional and international counterparts and developing a more sustainable migration policy. The removal of these visa requirements marks a significant step towards improving bilateral relations, encouraging tourism and facilitating business development,” Hodge said as he read a media release announcing the development.

“It also keeps us in line with the United Kingdom, which has since November 9, 2022, removed the visa restrictions imposed on nationals of Guyana and Colombia.”
