The new edition of the Congreso AVIXA, October 2022, offers a program designed for the different profiles and training and networking needs of the audiovisual industry’s diverse professional profiles.
With a renewed training program focused on professional profiles, presentations given by experts from Latin America, Europe, and the United States, more networking options, and multiple incentives for participation, AVIXA (the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) announces a new edition of the Congreso AVIXA (AVIXA Congress). This virtual event will bring together the different actors of the Hispanic-American audiovisual industry. With the slogan, “AV today, more present than ever,” the Congreso AVIXA will take place on October 18, 20, 25, and 26, 2022, with an offer of more than 20 conferences and exclusive content. Registration is free and available now through the website https://congreso.avixa.org/.
“During recent years, the role of audiovisual technologies and solutions has become more evident than ever, reaching more users and accelerating their adoption among organizations and individuals. This forces industry professionals to keep up to date and share their knowledge with peers so that the experiences they deliver are the best. Therefore, AVIXA seeks to offer various in-person and virtual events in which this exchange of knowledge is achieved, and the Congreso AVIXA is one of them,” explains Rodrigo Casassus Coke, CTS, Senior Director of Development for Latin America and the Caribbean in AVIXA.
By dividing the congress into four non-consecutive days, the aim is to facilitate the participation of interested people according to their profile. The first day (Tuesday, October 18) is for directors and managers of AVIXA member companies, who will be able to listen and exchange ideas on business models and structures, perspectives, and strategies in the four sessions of the Executive Members Forum, in addition to the key-note speech. AVIXA members will receive a direct invitation, and non-members interested in participating can send a request message to the AVIXA team.
Thursday 20, the second day of the event, has been dubbed as Business Development Day and is geared towards sales and marketing managers of companies in the AV industry. This day will discuss user experience, business skills, and what a client is looking for when hiring an AV consultant.
AV Tech Day is the third day of the congress (Tuesday, October 25). Its presentations are for technicians and installers interested in acquiring knowledge about support, best practices in implementation, troubleshooting, and tools for audio projects.
The event will end on Thursday, October 27, with the AV Design Day, dedicated to designers and integrators of AV systems. Topics such as new AR, VR, and XR visualization technologies will be touched upon on this fourth and final day, in addition to discussions on AV design and how to choose between acoustic treatment or AV tools when deciding on the most suitable solution for a project.
“In this edition of Congreso AVIXA, we seek to facilitate public participation, and therefore we divided the topics according to the most common professional profiles in the AV industry. The concept is that each department of the companies and independent specialists dedicate only a few hours in a single day to strengthen their knowledge and networking,” says Rodrigo Casassus Coke.
Before the event, on its WhatsApp and Telegram channels, AVIXA will publish videos with special talks by experts in each of the four profiles mentioned.
The congress will use a versatile virtual platform where participants will enjoy valuable visibility and interaction tools. The platform will offer access to live streaming and recordings of all sessions in an on-demand scheme that will be available for 30 days after the end of the event.
The conversation will continue through the AVIXA Xchange online community, a professional social network that shares exclusive content and business opportunities and generates networking opportunities with other industry professionals.
In addition to offering knowledge and networking opportunities, AVIXA has prepared several incentives to boost the participation of professionals in the audiovisual industry. From digital recognitions generated by Acreditta, a specialist in digital badge solutions, to raffles with prizes such as free passes for the upcoming fairs ISE Barcelona 2023 and InfoComm 2023 in Orlando, Elite level memberships for AVIXA, access to virtual courses or the CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) package that includes: training coupon, the book ¨CTS Guide¨ in preparation for the exam and a mentoring meeting with a specialized CTS instructor.
