This is not only impactful for San Salvador, but also for the country as a whole.”

The company has also invested an additional $5 million to facilitate the reopening, with the government allocating some $3 million to facilitate upgrade infrastructure on the island, including upgrades to clinics, the water system and electrical systems.  Mr. Davis also said that work at the airport is also in progress.
