EPSON is proud sponsor of Nurturing The Wild Competition hosted by the T&T Photographic Society

SureColor P700 and P900 Professional are among the highest prizes in the contest

Launched in 2014, the Trinidad & Tobago Photographic Society (TTPS) is a non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting the art and science of photography. We have regular monthly meetings, we go out and about on photo safaris and we hold the annual national photographic competition that celebrates the wealth of photographic talent in Trinidad and Tobago.

The photographic society is open to all, whatever level of experience or knowledge. NO QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO JOIN, ONLY A PASSION AND LOVE OF PHOTOGRAPHY. The organization provides opportunities to share knowledge, meet and learn from other photographers and to develop photographic interests and skills.

The “Nurturing the Wild” competition is the Caribbean’s first ever conservation photography competition. It is hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Photographic Society, the Nurture Nature Campaign, and photographer Faraaz Abdool.

At this pivotal time, we hope that this competition can engender new perspectives on how we interact with the natural world, and thus assist in forging a sustainable way forward in our beautiful country.

There are three categories in which participants may submit, and all photos shall be
judged by world class photographers: Eladio Fernandez, Georgina Steytler, and Juliette Hadad. Winners will be announced on World Environment Day, June 5 2022.

There are prizes to be won totalling more than $30,000 TT. Youth prizes include exciting nature excursions and even small cash awards in the form of starter bank accounts, all provided by our many sponsors, including HADCO, Republic Bank, and Epson.
