Ingram Micro adds Veeam Software to Cloud Marketplace

Ingram Micro equips resellers with delivery of complete Veeam Backup solutions to just under 1,000 resellers in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong

Ingram Micro today announces that Veeam® Software, the leader in Backup solutions that deliver Modern Data Protection, will now be available on its cloud marketplace in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. This move follows the launch of Veeam on Ingram Micro’s Cloud Marketplace in Australia and New Zealand on June 16.

As the channel distribution partner, Ingram Micro will bring Veeam’s core backup solutions, Veeam® Backup for Microsoft Office 365 and Veeam Backup Essentials Universal Subscription to its national network of resellers through its cloud marketplace platform.

Veeam Backup solutions are available through the Ingram Micro cloud marketplace to just under 1,000 resellers and will enable businesses to modernise their data protection strategies and eliminate downtime.

By integrating Veeam’s Backup solutions with the Ingram Micro Cloud, procurement, provisioning, billing, maintenance, and support are simplified into a single panel available on the platform. This equips resellers for the delivery of complete Backup solutions to their customers with a minimum of administrative overhead, maximising efficiency and margin.

Lee Welch, executive director, Ingram Micro Cloud Services APAC said, “I have enjoyed working with Veeam since their entry to the region over ten years ago. Veeam has continued to bring innovative solutions to market over the years and I’m excited we are now launching Veeam on the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, which will deliver an immediate and powerful advantage to our channel partners by providing access to one of the leaders in Backup solutions delivering Modern Data Protection.”

Belinda Jurisic, senior director of Channels, Cloud and Service Provider APJ at Veeam said, “We are thrilled to bring two of our core Backup solutions to Ingram Micro’s cloud marketplace, and look forward to expanding our reach to more partners than ever before with the help of Ingram Micro’s extensive and knowledgeable reseller team. Veeam® Backup for Microsoft Office 365 enables local businesses to eliminate the risk of losing access and control over their Office 365 data so that their information is always protected and accessible.”

“To complement this, businesses can also purchase Veeam® Universal License (VUL), a simple, flexible ‘per workload’ license for protecting all workloads across on-premises, hybrid and multi-cloud environments. VUL is portable across workloads, making protecting and restoring backups for any workload easier than ever, while avoiding appliance lock-in and additional fees that other vendors may charge.”

“By adding Veeam’s core backup solutions to the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, we are further strengthening our support to our customers and partner ecosystem as they accelerate their modern data protection strategies,” said Shiva Pillay, senior vice president for Veeam Asia Pacific and Japan. “The foundation of our relationship with Ingram Micro has been built upon a decade’s worth of trust and the combined goal of delivering effective solutions to our channel ecosystems. Together, we will continue to solidify our commitment to being the trusted providers and reaching new heights.”
