Can you please describe your role and responsibilities?
Currently working with customers located in Trinidad and Tobago,
Guyana, Barbados, Curacao, Suriname, St Lucia and Belize.
Marketing our current portfolio of products to new and existing customers, while developing and sustaining valued business relationships with all our customers.
What is your outlook on the Southern Market?
The business is stable with positive numbers. The government and private sector of all the islands now have an accelerated plan towards establishing a digital economy in order to survive the Pandemic and to strengthen business continuity.
Lately, Trinidad had faced some tough economic challenges.
How is Intcomex tackling this situation?
This has had a huge impact on sales but Intcomex has been flexible and we are working with our customers to ensure they can still get product when needed.
We accept payments in different currencies and payment methods. We continue to explore various options to bring greater convenience to our customers in Trinidad and regionally as this problem is not unique to Trinidad only.
What are Incotmex’s expectations for the Caribbean Region in 2021?
With our recent purchase of ScanSource, we now have a broader range of products and services to offer our customers. We believe we are set to increase market share in the Caribbean region with our current offerings.
